hi,


how can i "scatter" objects to hair, for example to make feathers and so on.

i know about helge's tools but i'd like to do it with hair.

Does any one know how much support for a wacom tablet will be in XSI 4? ie: pressure, tilt, eraser...toolbar, etc etc. Maybe one of you beta people could spill the beans for once Very Happy

This message comes up in the linux terminal when i run XSI after I change re XSI layout to 1024 ...

That I want to make into a bit of a donut.
Basically, I have an outer shell of hair, but when you look at it from the wrong angles, and see the interior, it's just black.

The Material Set ID 2 is working
It just isn't the right ID
And for some reason, it's reverting to that.

Nah, I set the UVW map for the hair myself.
It works with the Set ID 2 that seems to take over everything, but not 5, which is the correct hair mat

Ayep, even when I use the little "Select ID" box and switch it to 5, it auto sets it back to 2

I think you can do it with the ref mode
just select your object you want to align.
activate translate tool
Turn on the REF mode.
