Uvs Copy Pasting In Zbrush

Hello,
i've scanned a model and when i imported it with its texture into zbrush its' topology was tris, and lots of it. i've duplicated it and then dynameshed it , "project all" to the duplicated mesh (to project the texture to the duplicted mesh with the quads after the dynameshing) but it didn't work so i used the uv master- unwrap--> flatten --> copy uvs going back to the original mesh (with the tris) ---> paste uvs and nothing happened.(as well as when i tried using "work on clone" option).
what did i miss or did wrong? is there a better way to get the texture on the "quaded" mesh so when i unwrap the mesh i can do it with the texture on?
would appreciate any advice or suggestion. thank you.

I may be wrong but I don't think you can copy and paste UVs between objects with different topology.

mmm... so the option to do so is just between the mesh and its' clone?

What exactly do you want to achieve?
If you want to transfer a texture from one object to another. You should have good UVs on the object you want to transfer to and bake the texture from another object.
You can post some screenshots to let us know what results do you get.
