Motionbuilder Mocap Weapon Attachement Help Request

Hello.
I’m looking for some help.
I’m working on an animation where a model is supposed to walk a littlebit to the front while he is dragging a heavy axe behind him on his right hand.
What I am trying to achive is that the weapon follows the hand but the end of the axe (the heavy part) sticks to the ground as it would IRL.
Usually I either constrain the weapon to the weapon attachment bone that follows the wrist (for main hand) and if the other hand have to follow i usually use Aux Effector on the other hand to follow the weapon.
But these do not work in this instance.
Right now my weapon has 2 bones one at the handle and one at the end.
Can someone give me an idea what constraints to use so that the weapon follows the hand but the end of the weapon sticks to the ground.
I’m using Motionbuilder 2018 for my project.
I'm also using mocap data that I created myself (Ipisoft)
