Hi,

I've just finished my university final year project - an architectural visualisation piece on St Paul's Cathedral - the youtube video:

And require feedback for my report. I would really appreciate it if you could leave a comment on what you think/ suggestions for improvements...

Thank you,

George

I like the environment and atmospheric effects. I like the sound.

But the building lacks details. It's too clean looking.

Add some noisy textures to specular channel.
Also add some dirt in corners, an ambient occlusion map can help you with it.

Some bump and dirt on the pile of bricks would also add more realism.
You can also experiment with stronger bokeh (narrower depth of field.)
To hide the low poly models and focus on the Cathedral.

The model of the building is very detailed, I like it.

The video is too dark imho. Some more interesting lights, either a sun with 'some' color to it or a dark surrounding with long shadows and some lights inside the building would spice up the light.

The planes all fly on the same height without any of them flying out of order, some subtle jittering to their path along the path would make them more believable.
