My project will not open due to a newer massfx plugin

im fairly new to the 3D industry and am currently a student for animation and game design and I have been working on a school project for 3 months and its due this coming Tuesday and I cannot open my file here at my house with my version. when I open it here at my house it takes about20 min just to open it up and when it does itll lock up and will not render at all and it gives me an error saying " the file is using a newer version of massfx plugin and may not work properly" but I havnt changed anything from school to my house. I used to be able to open it up normally and work normally but now I cant...please help?

I also would like to add that the computer at school is slower than the one I use. I have no clue if this makes a difference. please tell me im just stupid and missing something obvious instead of freaking myself out and worrying im going to fail.

Was it because of different MassFX versions?
