Help on how to convert/open custom file formats

I recently extracted the meshes, models, and skeletons from a game, but I noticed that the formats for them weren't supported by universal 3d modelling programs. The file formats were .LMS and .LMD.

So, is there any way for me to open/convert these files into more universal formats that can be used with most programs?

I don't know these could be proprietary formats.
What game engine are we talking about?
