RTT USA Inc. is looking for Supervising Producer
Starting Date: ASAP, duration - Full time/ Permanent
Job details: Title: Supervising Producer
Reports to: Studio Manager
The Supervising Producer is responsible for managing a team of producers who together work with
external stakeholders, and the Content Creation team to produce high quality CG projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
Direct the day-to-day work of Production Management team with communication to the Studio
Manager, and Team Leads.
Distinguish for the team and other departments between high and low priority items,
focusing on areas yielding the greatest return, and make sound determinations based on
what requires a sense of urgency.
Manage that team goals are structured, communicated and achieved. Ensuring crew is
communicated to with regards to overall goals and priorities.
Foster positive working relationships and teamwork within the team with an emphasis on
communication.
Encourage sound decisions in the absence of detailed instructions and carefully evaluate
alternative risks and its effect on the team and the projects.
Cultivate a harmonious and cohesive team, inspire the cooperation and confidence of
others, and promote the common purpose.
Partners with Studio Manager to guide the production management teams overall
professional development by providing performance feedback, mentoring, resolving
performance management issues and maintaining positive morale amongst the crew.
Partner closely with Management Team on the planning, staffing and budgeting process for
all projects
Prioritize and work closely with management and team leads including communication of
production planning, changes, and status.
Assist Executive Producers with contract amendments and tracking creative overages.
Represents Production Management in weekly production meetings. Reports department
progress and discusses solutions to any issues impeding the department.
Partners with the Studio Manager, Team Leads, and Producers to manage, motivate and
create an environment conducive to achieving goals and artistic achievements.
Assists with Special Projects as needed.
Experience:
7-10 years experience in production management, 5 of which were in a Supervising role.
Working knowledge of production techniques and terminology.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Exceptional organization, communication and management skills.
Excel as a team player and strive to maximize team/department performance.
Self-directed, detail oriented, problem solver with a burning desire to contribute to a
creative environment.
Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
Ability to establish priorities and multi-task efficiently within a high pressure environment
while meeting strict deadlines. Ability to work in an environment that has a certain degree
of ambiguity.
3D production and automotive industry highly preferred
