Blazing Forge Games is looking for Looking 3D Environment Artist for Mobile Game

Starting Date: 2/27/2012 or sooner, duration - 3/09/2012

Job details: Blazing Forge Games is looking to contract a talented environment artist for work on a mobile game. The ideal candidate has experience developing in strict poly count and texture sheet budgets when modeling and texturing indoor assets. A solid grasp of form, structure, color, and design for both 2D and 3D art assets is essential. The ideal candidate works well in an environment of peers who are passionate about making great games.

▪ Model and texture a series of building interiors.

Requirements: ▪ Proficient in making optimized low-poly meshes
▪ Proficient in Maya and Photoshop (must be able to export fbx)
▪ Self-motivation, good communications skills, and a great team-player attitude
▪ Skill in the following related creation tasks modeling and texturing
▪ Love video games inside & out
▪ Must be able to work at least 20 hours a week

Location: Houston, Texas (Can be remote)
