How to control this surface transition?

Hey guys,

I´m trying to create a surface transition for my bachelor thesis for almost three days now.
I´m a new member and can´t figure out a way to post images (because of the 15 posts rule)!?
But I really need some help, because my time is running out...
Doe´s anybody know how to handel it?
