Rising Sun Pictures (RSP) is looking for Houdini FX Artists & Technical Directors
Starting Date: Immediate, duration - 3-6 months
Job details: RSP are working on a number of high profile, live-action, FX heavy, feature films. We are seeking experienced Houdini FX Technical Directors & FX Artists to join our team.
In this role you will call upon your past CG film experience to create natural phenomenon FX elements, including fire, explosions, and FX animation. Applicants must be highly experienced CG artists. In this role you will be contributing your knowledge and expertise to achieve the highest quality visual effects output.
Requirements: RESPONSIBILITIES
• Efficiently work to direction of VFX & CG Supervisor’s creative & technical briefs.
• Create exceptional realistic phenomenon FX animation and effects.
• Demonstrated ability to follow the brief.
• Work with animation & lighting as necessary in order to meet FX animation objectives.
• Ability to adapt your effects as the brief evolves.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 3 years Houdini experience.
• Prior experience creating photo-real FX Elements for feature film.
• Experience creating fire, particles, explosions or destruction sequences is highly desirable.
• Experience working with dynamics an advantage.
