Funcom is looking for Project Manager
Job details: About the Company:
Funcom was founded in 1993 and has since then developed and published over 25 game titles across several genres and gaming platforms. Most notable of these are the MMOs 'Age of Conan' and 'Anarchy Online', as well as the adventure games 'The Longest Journey' and ‘Dreamfall’.
The company is currently in the process of developing several new game titles; such as the new modern-day MMO 'The Secret World' and our first casual MMO ‘Pets vs Monsters’, in addition to various free-to-play games.
About the Position:
We are looking for an experienced project manager with artistic background to lead one of our casual game team’s in Beijing. The project manager will report to and work closely with the producer and art director situated in our office in Canada, and will be responsible for the quality delivered in addition to keeping the production schedule on track.
The position is for Casual game
Requirements: Requirements for the Position
• 4+ years of industry experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a project manager or lead.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Ability to motivate, inspire and lead people.
• Ability to mentor and train others.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Must be willing to relocate to Beijing
Additional advantages for the Position:
• A passion for playing games.
• Bachelor degree in arts or equivalent.
• Experience with Scrum or Agile development.
• Excellent understanding of color theory and design.
• Solid experience with 2D graphics production.
• Solid experience with Flash.
• Solid experience with MS Office or similar software.
