SOFA Studio is looking for Lighting TD
Job details: SOFA Studio is seeking a Lighting TD to join our team for the new animated feature film.
Essential Job Functions:
-Responsible for creation and support of master lighting, which sets the overall lighting for a particular environment or scene, and convey this setting to production members to carry out.
-Lighting TD is responsible for lighting, rendering and compositing key shots, setting up shaders, render management, optimization of renders and solving technical problems that arise during production.
-Must excel in color, contrast, and lighting design, along with a solid familiarity with 3D lighting in a production environment.
-Must possess a strong visual sense and the ability to create the mood for any given shot.
-Ensure the works meeting both aesthetic and technical requirements
-Self-managing ¡X organized with good time management. Must be able to identify and meet goals
Requirements: REQUIREMENTS:
-3+ years of related experience and experience in lighting or supervising for Animated Feature Films or Animation TV series
-Full knowledge of Maya
-Experience in RenderMan or RenderMan Studio
-Strong compositing skill in Fusion, Nuke or other compositing software
-Experience in Mel scripting and Python is preferred but not required
-Excellent ability in controlling color, contrast and light shadow, familiar with lighting work progress in animation production.
-A detailed understanding of the lighting/compositing process and pipeline
-Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
-Able to work both collaborative and independently.

-Mainly communication by English, speaking Mandarin a plus
