SOFA Studio is looking for Animation Director
Job details: SOFA Studio is seeking an Animation Director to join our team for the new animated feature film.
Essential Job Functions:
-Responsible for evaluating and planning production workflow. Lead the animation team and provide related training programs to team members to ensure the works are done on time and within budget
-Reports production plan to the Production Supervisor and updates work progress on a regular basis
-Interpret the brief from the Director and convey information to the animators.
-Guide, supervise and review the work produced by the animators.
-Must understand the implications of movement, character performance, style, quality and continuity.
-Also expected to troubleshoot animation related technical issues, scheduling and budget requirements.
-Responsible for the quality of the animation.
-Self-managing ¡X organized with good time management. Must be able to identify and meet goals
Requirements: REQUIREMENTS:
-5+ years of related experience and experience in animation production or supervising for Animated Feature Films or Animation TV series
-Full knowledge of Maya
-Diversified design ability in terms of animation performance, acting styles can be adjusted flexibly according to the characteristics of the film
-Degree or certificate in fine arts, classical animation, or film or equivalent production animation experience
-Solid traditional animation knowledge
-Ability of project management
-Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
-Able to work both collaborative and independently.

-Mainly communication by English, speaking Mandarin a plus
