Job details: CHARACTER ARTIST [f/m]
YAGER seeks the talents of a passionate Character Artist to join our team working on multi-platform next-generation action titles.
Responsibilities
� Creating realistic and stylized characters to the highest industry standard, demonstrating passion and motivation
� Good communication skills across multiple disciplines; ability and willingness to accept and follow direction, and to work collaboratively
� Completing the given task in time
� Searching for constant improvement, professionally on a technical and artistic level
� Being a strong team player with the ability to leave the ego outside
Qualifications
� Prior experience in a game development environment
� Strong knowledge of one of the industries standard 3d packages (Maya/Max)
� Ability to create great High-polygon sculpts in ZBrush or Mudbox
� Create efficient Low-polygon models for well deformable characters
� Strong texturing skills in Diffuse-, Normal- and Speculamapping including efficient UV Sets
� Understanding of human and animal/creature anatomy
� Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
� Experience with Unreal Engine is a plus
� Ability for Rigging and Skinning in Maya is a plus
� Ability to take and apply direction and work well in a team environment

� Highpoly Models
� Lowpoly Models
� Texture Pages
� Classical Art skills
