SOFA Studio is looking for Production Supervisor
Job details: SOFA Studio is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our studio for our new animated feature film.
Essential Job Functions:
-The Production Supervisor is responsible for the technical evaluations of new projects and generating quota reports for the PM/Producer.
-helps department heads arrange job assignments and supervise the schedule and quality of the work.
-must analyze the requirements of each project and collaborate with the TDs/programmers to develop an appropriate pipeline for production.
-responsible for overseeing the progress of each project, whether it is hiring new employees, or establishing training programs for current workers to complete the projects more efficiently.
-When the work is outsourced to other studios, the Production Supervisor is to provide technical support and evaluate the capability of these studios.
Requirements: -Full knowledge of Maya
-Strong communication skills and personnel management skills
-Prior work experience in a CG environment at a supervisor level
-Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a positive, pro-active manner while interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization
-Bachelor¡¦s degree in Computer Graphics or Fine Arts
-Production scheduling and budgeting experience.
-Advanced skills in MS Excel
-Experience working with software developers
-5+ years of production management experience in the film industry, preferably in the area of digital animation and/or visual effects
-Mainly communication by English, speaking Mandarin a plus
