Starting Date: Jun 2011, duration - 18 months

Job details: Brown Bag Films are looking to hire an experienced Animation producer who has successfully produced a number of animated television series. This role will commence in June 2011 for 18 months.

Working in a busy creative environment, the selected candidate will produce a high profile 52 episode X 11 minute series in computer animation. The demanding role will involve managing a team of up to 30 staff in-house and an overseas animation studio in Asia. Demonstrating strong management skills, the selected candidate will love animation, be extremely organised, a brilliant communicator and someone who can show leadership and act calmly in stressful situations. Being responsible for the series budget, the producer will be required to base themselves in Dublin for the duration of the production and some international travel may be required.

Requirements: Key Attributes required in the role:
• Good understanding of a 3D computer animation Pipeline
• Experience in managing long form animation productions across all departments
• Creating and managing schedules and budgets, ensure schedules and budgets are met
• Deliver (in collaboration with Finance) appropriate reporting to ensure all relevant stakeholders are kept updated on progress.
• Liaising directly with TV Networks and responding to notes
• Identifying, interviewing and hiring Staff.
• Excellent communication skills
• Responsible for supervising performance reviews for crew
• Answerable to the Head of TV Production and Executive Producers
