General Motors Advanced Design is looking for Visualization Intern

Starting Date: June 1, 2011, duration - 3 months

Job details: GM’s North Hollywood Advanced Design Center is a satellite studio created to explore and design the future of vehicle design.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an innovative digital artist to join our Visualization team. Our ideal candidate must be creative, have the ability to take direction and adapt well in a fast-paced collaborative production environment.

Internship will run from June 1, 2011 thru August 31, 2011. Candidates must possess a 3.0 G.P.A. and be available to work from June 1 to August 31, 2011.

Requirements: Experience with After Effects and/or Nuke
Knowledge of Maya and Mental Ray
Experience with CG car and hard surface rendering
Good understanding of photo-realistic 3D lighting
Excellent traditional art skills
Must be able to work in a collaborative environment, taking direction and feedback from fellow team members and management
Strong communication skills
Critical eye for detail
Self motivated
Team player
