FIRST PRIZE, worth 6,000€ (around 8,300$).
Murcia, march, 2011. The Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, through the Integra Foundation, announces the “VIII SICARM International Contest of 3D Digital Animation” in order to promote the use of New Technologies applied to the creation of digital contents and to discover new talents in animation.
All works less than 30 minutes in length and created by any 3D digital animation tecnique are eligible for entry.
The submission deadline for the contest will be the 21th of March, 2011, at 14:00 hours. All works must have been produced after the first of January, 2010.
The Jury, composed of people of great renown in the area of 3D digital animation, will decide which works are to be granted the following official awards:
• FIRST PRIZE, worth 6,000€ (around 8,300$) and a trophy.
• SECOND PRIZE, worth 3,000€ (around 4,150$) and a trophy.
The prize-giving ceremony will be held in Murcia during the celebration of SICARM 2011.
