Free texture license on this website?

It says that if I use it in realtime apps, then I must include 3dmd in the credits, but what if I want to distribute the texture alongside a commercial 3d model?

You can not distribute it as it is with a 3d model without including the credits. But You can modify it so that it is usable only with your 3d model. A modification like this would be projecting it with one UV mapping set and then baking it to another UV mapping set that will result in a totally different texture that is usable only with your 3d model.

An alternative option is to include a text file in your 3d model package with instructions and credits.
