Working with continually evolving in-house technology, you will be responsible for leading the modelling team in the development of environmental assets for RuneScape; the Worlds most popular free to play MMO. You will work closely with the Art Director, modellers and designers to oversee and set the visual style of the game, in more detail, you will:
Support and work closely with the Art Director and game designers.
Schedule, manage and oversee all environment modelling production and implementation.
Produce high quality, optimised models which adhere to established styles and concept art.
Take responsibility for keeping assets optimised, organised and functioning in game as required.
To maintain a good level of communication with all relevant team members.
Keep up to date with developments to our in-house tools and relevant engine issues / limitations.

Requirements: To qualify... We are seeking an exceptional 3D Modeller with high levels of imagination and creativity who considers the technical and gameplay aspects as important as the aesthetics. Utilising your strong leadership, organisational and communication skills you should lead from the front inspiring, mentoring and training your team in the process.
A natural ability to consistently deliver high quality models from concept and a particular interest and skill in low polygon modelling is also necessary given the need to ensure relatively small file sizes for speedy download within a highly innovative game engine.
