Nice 3d modeling.
Try adding some lights with shadows to make it look more real.
Regarding the animation there is a lot to be done to finish it.
You have to animate all the parts of the body like the tail, the head, the shoulders to make it look alive.

It looks like the lizard is flying. There is no weight in the movement.
