Hiya

I'm a bit of a nood in 3d modeling but i need to make several 3d models of shoes ofr apersonal project. I have some basic knowledge and I'm using studiotools and solid edge.

I have no problem bulding the sole of the shoe. The problem is making the top leather part. its a complex curve and has i try to make it in parts (toe, heel, etc) i find that the part end up with diff angles!

I start off w the outline curve i used from the sole. Then i made a few cross sections of the shoe, conected to the base outline, one along the shoe and 3 across. from here i can get them to conect and blend in smoothly! :S can anyone suggest either tools or software i can use to do this easily?

Once i have the basic body of the shoe i can easily draw and raise panels and add stitching to it, cut and add the interior linings, etc, but i really need to get the body of the obhect right so i can work from it?

Thank you very much for your help and please be gentle i am only just starting
