Job details: Sony PlayStation Associate Promotions Manager
Responsibilities:
* In-game advertising: Determine and pursue potential partners,
cooperatively negotiate value exchange with Sr. Manager and oversee implementation of programs through final execution.
* Cross promotions: Manage partnership programs developed by Sr.
Manager or smaller projects independently generated; includes
implementation, coordination with internal and external parties,
execution and wrap up.
* Evaluate opportunities and determine if viable partnership for
platform, brand or specific titles.
* Oversee approvals, legal and logistics for all projects.
* Develop strong relationships with existing and new partners.
* Possess creative thinking to develop new ideas for current and future partners, programs, execution tactics, etc.
* Work closely with Sr. Manager to develop research initiatives.
* Manage day-to-day activities with select vendors and agencies.
* Spearhead production/execution of all creative materials for all projects.
* Tracking the budgets for partnerships, in-game advertising and
research initiatives.
Qualifications:
* Needs to be able to work independently in addition to extremely work well with others, including partners, peers, vendors, agencies and senior management from both Sony Computer Entertainment and external companies.
* Must have experience and proven his/her ability to work with,
communicate and understand the dynamics among a variety of projects. Should maintain a high level of professional maturity. Resourceful problem solver. Strong verbal and written communicator.
* Should have experience with and knowledge of promotional/partnership marketing practices, programs, planning and execution.
* Should have proven experience in managing, executing, and fulfilling promotional programs / plans.
* Must have strong organizational and project management skills, have a solid understanding of project objectives as well as be business savvy.
* Needs to be proactive and detail oriented, ability to handle many projects at the same time, and be responsive to immediate needs of a project.
* Understanding of, experience in the entertainment and/or lifestyle industries.
* Promotions and marketing a must. Knowledge of the gaming industry is a plus.
* Needs to be proficient in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lotus Notes, Acrobat Reader as well as the Internet. Strong skills with MS PowerPoint.
