Bardel Entertainment Inc. is looking for Render Wrangler

Job details: Bardel Entertainment Inc. is currently seeking a Render Wrangler for an exciting TV series currently in production.

Job Purpose:
To ensure the flow of rendered images from the lighting dept to the
compositing dept. Acts as a quality control \"first line of defense\",
spotting mistakes before they compound.
Works under the direction of the *Senior Technical Director*. Maintains
the aesthetic, creative and technical quality standards of Bardel
Entertainment.
Requirements: Minimum 1 year experience
Render final images within current production methodology
Manage the rendering of all shots in a production.
Manage shot file structure
Provide render technical support
Identify, report, and find solutions to technical rendering and composition errors
Submit all shots in a production to the \"render farm\"
Interact with the Production Trackers and IT Support staff
Works closely with all other departments to keep the production on schedule.
Identifies potential issues and participates in problem solving/tool building activities.
Mentors and trains others in areas of expertise.
Maintains an excellent understanding of the tools and software used in the post-production of video and special effect animations.
Excels as a team player and strive to maximize team/department performance.
Knowledge of Spider a plus
Must be willing to relocate to Vancouver for the duration of the project
