Job details: Associate Producer Currently Hiring: ASSOCIATE PRODUCER
Associate producer to manage and track aspects of game production, such as content, engineering schedules and external contracts. Works with Producer and Executive Producer in the overall management and production responsibilities for the game.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Organize and track game feature lists and schedules, incorporating requirements from design, art, and engineering.
Participate in design and planning sessions.
Assist in game PR -- give demos of the game; assist in communication with fans, press, and publishers.
Assist with game testing and general quality control.
Coordinate feature creation across multiple disciplines including Art, Engineering and Design.
QUALIFICATIONS
3 or more years of experience working in a production role on a game development team. Familiarity with all phases of game development, from design to ship.
Experience in a management role, including responsibility for schedules, contracts, and budgets.
Experience working successfully with engineers, artists and designers.
Familiarity with traditional scheduling tools, such as MS Excel and MS Project.
Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
Strong familiarity with and love of gaming, particularly PC online and massively multiplayer games.
Experience writing technical feature requirement docs.
An ideal candidate may also have one or more of these skills:
Familiarity with artist tools, such as Photoshop and Maya.
Experience working with external contract houses.
Experience managing testing teams.
Programming, coding experience, especially in the games industry.
Experience with 3D rendering is a plus.
IT or server support background.
