Job details: Climax Group, the world\'s largest independent video game developer is expanding!!! Climax has an exceptional history, but our future is even more exciting with an impressive roster of newly signed current and next generation products and our multi award winning studios are now seeking highly talented individuals for these impressive titles.
We are currently seeking a Creative Game Director to work on Next Gen character based action title in our state of the art Solent studio in England. Our ideal candidate will have no less than five years games industry experience in a similar role with a solid number of AAA titles behind them. You will be blessed with outstanding management ability and excellent people skills. Extensive experience with MS Project is a must.
Your role will give you responsibility for the quality of all the games developed in the studio.
You will also have the responsibility for mentoring and leading all designers
You will review the GDD, the MDD and the design production pathway of every product in development on a regular basis.
The Creative Director is also responsible for the quality of all studio pitch and design documents and will be pitching all new game ideas directly to the publisher. The Creative Director will report directly to the President of the Studio but will work closely with the VP of Development on current products and with the VP of Business Development on new products.
