Job details: Senior Cinematic Artist Squad Shooter Mad Doc Software is looking for a talented artist to create in game cinematic for a next-generation multi-platform title. Breathe life into words on a page through the use of lighting, cinematography, dialogue and animation. A portfolio demonstrating skill in these areas is required. Storyboards a plus!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize and drive all aspects of cinematic production for the project.
Work with the team to create balanced solutions to all related technical and aesthetic issues.
Work with the design team, dev team and the art team on cinematic design and implementation.
Communicate and coordinate efforts related to cinematic production between art, design, and programming.
Unfold the narrative for the player in a visually engaging manner.
Create dramatic and eye-popping cut-scenes to help drive the action
Report to the Art Director.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree in Traditional Art or Film from a competitive program preferred.
3+ years proven industry experience on at least one AAA title.
Expert-level skill in Photoshop.
Expert-level skill in 3D Studio Max or equivalent 3D program.
Good visualization skills around production processes and tools.
Familiarity with digital compositing tools (Combustion, After effects, Digital Fusion).
Experience creating in-game cinematics for video games.
Experience using UnrealEd and Kismet.
Problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a self-directed manner and to make timely, well-thought out decisions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must speak Art, Design and Dev.
A passion for game development.
