duration - Full Time
Job details: Sr. Environments Artist Responsibilities
Perform environmental lighting and overall composition refinement
Requirements
Passion for video games and broad knowledge of titles and industry.
Maya 5.0 or higher, advanced level experience
Photoshop 6.0 or higher, advanced level experience
Expert modeling, texturing, and UV mapping ability
Strong understanding of form and composition, color and lighting
Working within the technical and memory constraints of a game must be second nature
Easily forecast the amount of time a common task will take to complete
Consistently meet your own forecasted deadlines
Comfortable taking both artistic and technical direction
Work well in a team environment
Have made significant contributions to the Environments and Lighting of two shipped titles in the past five years.
Provide limited direction to less senior members of the art staff
Preferences
zBrush
Experience creating complex visual effects for film and/or games
Experience managing artists
Experience with MEL scriptings
