Job details: Senior Producer / Producer (External) Job Purpose:
To provide coordination with and direction to external developers on interactive entertainment products from initial design through code release by managing projects to schedule and budget.

Major Responsibilities:
Manage acquisition, design, and development of online games product line or category of interactive products to P&L.;
Work closely with Online Business Unit Director to:
Ensure the product's commercial success
Understand, refine, maintain and disseminate the product vision
Identify and resolve design discrepancies and conflicts
Identify and resolve conflicts between schedule, budget and design goals
Drive communication
Responsible for directing the development efforts on multiple external software products from concept to final product release and for providing or maintaining the creative vision of these products.
Maintain close communication with outside developers to ensure they meet contractual requirements. Provide developers with material and technical support as needed.
Coordinate development efforts with QA, Marketing, Public Relations, Sales, IS, International and legal to achieve consistency and quality and to facilitate the timely and effective delivery of materials required for publication.
Establish, maintain and enhance creative relationships with internal and external developers. Foster positive working relationship and teamwork within the development teams with an emphasis on communication..
Establish strategic development direction for assigned product lines and manage development to achieve sustainable success, beyond the life of a single product launch.
Manage multiple products from inception through release by identifying market opportunities, securing approval for resource and development support, meeting development goals and delivering to meet or exceed expectation in the final product.
Manage the alignment of development goals with marketing objectives, and the alignment product goals with strategic development objectives. Achieve sales goals through quality execution and by meeting market requirements.
Manage Producers to balance creative vision with development constraints so teams may create quality titles on time that meet the market, in accordance with company's strategic plans.
Provide leadership on global market trends, patterns, and customer requirements. Capitalize on this knowledge to foster the development of innovative products.
Develop and exploit strategic opportunities for the company. Increase the company's value with development efforts that create and sustain studio franchises.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years production experience with three or more complete development cycles in a project management role.
Exceptional organization, communication and management skills.
Expert knowledge of hardware and software game industry trends.
Excel as a team player and strive to maximize team/department performance.
Self-directed, detail oriented, problem solver with a burning desire to contribute to a uniquely creative environment.
Strong technical background desirable.
Strong understanding of online business models.
Must exhibit an affinity for online entertainment software and possess a strong sense of aesthetics applicable to producing high quality entertainment products.
High achievement in leading creative talent in a fast paced production environment required. Must have successfully developed and managed people, resources and schedules with a world renown software entertainment company.
Keen knowledge of software entertainment industry, game platforms and genres.
