When i check the "OpenGL" option in the graphics settings, 3dsmax behaves strangely. I get lots of graphical errors and it feels slower than usual. I have a Gf3 with the newest detonators.

As far as i know, Softimage XSI is optimized to exploit SMP. Is this 'out of the box'?

Just wondering if there's a setting to alow you to render Sub Ds meshes at a high subdivision level while you can still have it displayed at a low subdiv level in your viewport.
