i am graphic designer but i am still a newbie in 3dmax. i start to learn 3d and i believe this forum could help me improve my skills and hobbies in 3d. now i am just about to enter the art university.

i heard that maya is better in skin and fur rendering while 3ds is better in architectural. however, they are both good in modelling
