| Yeah, I've been around the block since I first posted this question. Autodesk pulls all old copies within days of their newest release. They really cover all the bases, and make it impossible to purchase their product for under 3,500 or so. I ended up buying a copy of 2011 for a mega steal deal at $3,200....I am offically legit! No more hacked copies for this sucker!
Thanks for the response though Andyba. |

| Good question, artferd. My answer is I don't know if there are ways to purchase 3ds Max cheaper than it is. May be only an older version... But I doubt that Autodesk are selling them. |

| This is my first post here, although I've been doing 3d animation for awhile. I'm to the point were I need to purchase a copy of 3ds Max, but I find that it is really way too expensive for my wallet. Am I missing something, is there a cheap legal way to purchase a copy of 3ds Max that doesn't cost $4,000? |
