Post subject: maxwell render multiple instances

hey!

i want to run multiple versions of maxwell studio on my laptop (exactly 2.0 and 2.5), but didn´t find out how to do it.

can somebody help?

Is there a specific reason you would like to have multiple versions installed? The installation process for Maxwell will auto uninstall the previous version before installing the new one. Essentially only allowing you to have a single version installed at any given time. If you have scenes that were created with different versions, just keep the new one. 2.5 will be able to open / render 2.5 or below scene files. If you go below 2.0 (such as 1.xx) then those might become a problem when trying to render.

hi, sir, i think a laptop is not suit for maxwell rendering,Easy to make your laptop crashes ,you can hire a online render farm, it's cheap and convenience,Fox Renderfarm is a very good choice for you, http://www.foxrenderfarm.com/ , thanks !
