Job details: Position: Sr. 3D Artist
Department: Content Creation
Reports to: 3D Lead & Studio Manager
Summary of Position: Supporting role to the 3D Artists and Team Lead while serving as a mentor to the 3D Artists.
Job Responsibilities:
„h Responsible for deliverables of assigned projects.
„h Provide technical insight to Producer and Team Lead as needed, such as suggesting more efficient methods of handling a certain task.
„h Assist department with all CGI questions.
„h Lighting, shading, modeling and compositing realistic objectives and environments in Maya, Mental Ray and Nuke.
„h Collaborate with Team Lead, Creative Director / Agency Creative¡¦s to create a visual style that will resonate with the target audience.
„h Voice problems or concerns to Producer if missing materials.
„h Build and maintain relationship with clients.
„h Maintain open and clear communication with Producer and Creative Director.
„h Collaborate with Producer and PA to develop status report for management.
„h Mentor and develop 3D Artists
Skills Necessary: „h Proficient in Maya, Nuke, & Mental Ray, „h Strong skills in lighting & illumination (HDRI) „h Shading, texturing and lighting
„h 3D skills at a high level of accuracy and precision
„h Good knowledge of shading and lighting techniques in 3D
„h Working knowledge of Photoshop
„h Excellent traditional art skills
„h A track record of successful projects
„h Verbal and written communication skills
„h Ability to collaborate with clients and strong desire to excel
„h Proven pro-active team player
„h Self motivated with ability to prioritize and attention to detail
„h Excellent presentation skills and polished/professional demeanor
„h Ability to react and respond quickly to the needs of management and clients
Education / Experience Required:
„h Bachelors of Fine Arts
„h Minimum 3-5 years experience in CGI/preferably automotive
