Currently have the 8800 GT fro evga which is factory clocked to close to GTX specs....
Been eying the following: Radeon 5770 or the nVidia 250 GTS.

1. reasons why these cards older system no budget for higher end really
2. 550 W unit PSU I want to keep until I buy an entirely new machine
3. Wondering if the ATI performance is as good in max as it is in GAMES compared to the nVidia counterpart.

Thank you advice is highly appreciated I have been wrecking myself over this…
