The last few places are available on the next course starting on January 11th.
If you're interested in learning how to create animation of classic quality, you'll need to learn from a world-class animator. Our course, developed and taught by Pixar Veteran Jeff Pratt will allow you to do just this. Jeff honed his character animation skills on some of Pixar's best loved movies including Toy Story and Monsters Inc. Like all our 3D courses, we start with a professional introduction to all aspects of creating CG work using Maya. Then you'll study the core principles of animation, realistic movement, weight and timing. Our course respects the fact that animators are artists, placing as much emphasis on the development of artistic observation as on technical software skills. We won't waste time creating complex models and set-ups. Instead you'll work with a fully pre-rigged character to ensure you spend your time focusing purely on the animation. Finally you'll create your very own short project and in doing so gain an understanding of how to storyboard a sequence and animate to dialogue, just like in feature animation.
