My teacher set my up correctly, but it seems during the course of my work I have gone and messed up what he set up for me.

My question is, how I do work on one layer in wire frame mode with another being textured so I can use it for reference?

To be more specific, I've got two planes with reference diagrams on them on a separate layer as a Reference layer, but when I try to go into wireframe mode to work on the other layer, it converts the other layer into wirefram as well, how do I stop this?

It would be extremely helpful for anyone trying to answer your question if you specified what 3D application you are working with.

To Attach an Image to your post write the message then press the Go Advanced button. In the bottom of the advanced reply screen you will see an option to upload an image from your computer.
