Hey, all! I'm Chunky549 and I'm currently learning C++ (for game development) however I also would like to be able to make and texture my own models. Nothing too fancy, in fact I prefer 'old' looking models. Sort of like what you'd see in American Mcgee's Alice.

If anyone to point out a good (free) place for me to get started on learning character modelling and texture art (I use GIMP) I would be deeply appreciative. Also, I love constructive critisism.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I'm from England.

I answered to one of your question about texturing in another post but I guess I should have read this post first.
Nice pistol...

There are lots of tutorials about character modeling on the net.
But I guess I will have to compile a good list of them.
I will let you know when I finish.
