Post subject: LightWave Render Farms
Hi Wise3d,
Here is a list of Render Farms that provide rendering services in LightWave 3d. Unfortunately I don't know how good are these rendering farms since I didn't use them myself. So if you try one of these let us know how did it go.
Rebus Render Farm - http://www.rebusfarm.com/ - provides 250 workstations right away to render still-images and animations. Accepts NewTek Lightwave 3d scenes with Maxwell Render, Vue xStream and Standard Renderer.
Res Power render farm - http://www.respower.com/page_howto_lightwave accepts Newtek LightWave 3d scenes. They say they are the Least Expensive Rendering Solution In the World.
Render Farm 24 - http://www.renderfarm24.com seems to be able to render in Newtek LightWave 3d. The renderfarm runs on 64-Bit architecture and is therefore able to render complex scenes with high-resolution textures and millions of polygons.
Render Rocket Render Farm - http://www.renderrocket.com/ LightWave 3d option is in beta only
RANCH - The BEST RENDERFARM for your 3D projects - http://www.ranchcomputing.com/ - RANCH is a computing network for 3D rendering, offering an efficient, secure and easy to use rendering service for Lightwave 3D from NewTek. The first entirely automated rendering service optimized for Lightwave 3D
If anyone knows of other Lightwave Render Farms they are welcome to add them in this thread.

Post subject: Check our Light Wave Render Farm
Hi,
I understand is a bit late for this project
but for future ones you might consider our farm, we are having very competitive pricing, in simple words we are 50-85% cheaper than competition. We run on green electricity and when our computers are not rendering processors are used to help Rosetta@home project that might help to find cures for HIV, Alzheimer and more.
Next time visit our site or just give a shout on the skype: http://garagefarm.net
Cheers
Tomek
PS looks like I cannot make links, so our website is GarageFarm.NET and I had to re-edit skype login too.

Hi, Soth and welcome to our 3d community.
Can you provide more information about your render farm?
There are no limits on the amount of information you can post here.
So how Garage Farm is any better than the render farms I posted above?
What is the procedure of using your render farm? and so on...

Hi,
Well there is few differences, first we are smaller than most of the competitors, but we are not the smallest farm on the market so do not worry we still will be much(!) faster than your workstation or even few of them if you have more than one or two.
Why we are better? I have many years experience in 3D, that means if anything will go wrong (rendering on the farm is sometimes not so easy as on one computer) I will be able to help you. For example if you need to bake radiosity cache file, you might want to do it on our fastest computer, it is 35Ghz in total, we will save you a lot of time and/or make your animation look much better. The plug-ins will not be the issue, etc.
But, what I think, is a real difference between us and the competitors is the pricing, we are much cheaper and to get discounts you don not need to 'top up' thousands of dollars as in other places.
On top of this we will render 1/4 of resolution for free (after making deposit - $1 is enough
) and we are running on green electricity.
