Hi folks,

I'm quite new with Maya, and my problem is this.
When I color objects in Maya, they don't seem to show
when I render them afterwards. All I really get is the
same shade of grey for the different objects I got going on
in the shot. How do I get it so that THEY SHOW when I
need to render or export them. There are different colors
in the shot they just don't show when rendered. Somebody
please help...

Thx guys,

Paul

Hello Paul,
Welcome to 3d artist forums.
When you say that you color objects what do you mean?
You are coloring vertices(points) or may be some weight map?

Anyway what you should do is add whatever you are coloring to your shaders that define the objects colour during rendering.

Hope it helps...

Also you can attach a MAYA screen shot with your problems... this will help us help you Wink
