This is an old work that was posted on other forums.
But I would like to post it here.
Any feedback is welcome. _________________ Andyba, 3d artist skills: 3d modeling, texturing, rendering, 3d character animation, compositing 3d software experience: 3ds max, Maya, Softimage XSI, Deep Paint 3d, Body Paint 3D, Wings 3D, Z Brush 2d software experience: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After effects, Macromedia Flash, Freehand |

Seems like you have high tech architecture mixed in with old world structures (the bridge). The render reminds me of a Boris Vallejo painting. Nice! |

Thank you for your replies. This image reminds me of the old good times when there was no radiosity or global illumination algorithms or at least they were not usable and I had to set up every light manually. _________________ Andyba, 3d artist skills: 3d modeling, texturing, rendering, 3d character animation, compositing 3d software experience: 3ds max, Maya, Softimage XSI, Deep Paint 3d, Body Paint 3D, Wings 3D, Z Brush 2d software experience: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After effects, Macromedia Flash, Freehand |

I'm amazed. Simply dumbstruck. Did you make all the textures, as well? |

Yes most of them, beside the generic wood and brick. _________________ Andyba, 3d artist skills: 3d modeling, texturing, rendering, 3d character animation, compositing 3d software experience: 3ds max, Maya, Softimage XSI, Deep Paint 3d, Body Paint 3D, Wings 3D, Z Brush 2d software experience: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After effects, Macromedia Flash, Freehand |

Aww, shame you didn't make those too. I'd love to know how you would have done it; but it's still a wicked picture! 42/10 Also, would you please be as kind as to enlighten me on some good ways to practice and warm up with making models and textures? |
