I would like a script that extrudes multiple closed polygons to a specific plane. I have the profiles of several buildings and just want to extrude them to the ground.
Also I have a editable mesh of buildings for an entire city. However max treats it as one object. I need a script that would select the individual buildings and detach them as there own mesh. Can this be done? Is the request clear enough? Basically, these scripts would help my supervisor and I get our 3D visualizations done a lot faster. How would a script know where one building starts and one building ends?
If each building has all of it's elements interconnected you can explode the mesh into elements without any additional scripts.
