hey, i've got a problem in max 4.2. Every time i draw something (a sphere, cylinder, rectangle, or whatever...) , i get crossed lines in the middle of the polygons. It's just like all the triangular faces are visible in the mesh. It's very enoying because the models become too massive. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Check your settings for the video display. More than likely you have the option checked that shows triangle strips. You can change this under: Preferences: Viewports : Configure driver (button on bottom right)


Here's the pop-up menu. Let us know if that does/doesn't work.

it already works!! Very Happy

if i turn off Use Wireframe faces and also turn off Use Triangle strips,,, then it works

To Attach an Image to your post write the message then press the Go Advanced button. In the bottom of the advanced reply screen you will see an option to upload an image from your computer.
