Is it possible to edit multiple passes at once in xsi?

Yes, it's possible.
You have to open the render options window.
Then select all the passes you need to edit.
To do this open the explorer window (press "8") and the press "p".
It will show all the passes in the scene.

Softimage XSi: Edit multiple passes.

Message body: To Attach an Image to your post write the message then press the Go Advanced button. In the bottom of the advanced reply screen you will see an option to upload an image from your computer.	Confirmation code: Enter the code exactly as you see it. The code is case sensitive and zero has a diagonal line through it.
