Mainframe Entertainment Inc. is looking for Layout Artist

Job details: Duties and Responsibilities Include:

- Provide production ready assets that animation, lighting and FX can use to begin their functions within the overall pipeline

- Interaction with supervisors and leads to realize director?s vision

- Establish character blocking/poses, composition and cinematography

- Responsible for the continuity and flow within and between shots and sequences

- File management ? organize work/files efficiently

Qualifications Include:

- Strong skills in layout (planning and asset management), animation & cinematography are required

- Basic understanding of modeling and lighting

- Knowledge of XSI or Maya are preferable, but not required

- A minimum of two years film or television experience

- Good understanding of character posing

- Degree/diploma in fine arts or animation or equivalent experience an asset

- Able to communicate creative and technical thoughts and ideas

- Able to multi-task and prioritize

- Thrive in a high pressure, deadline oriented environment

- Enjoy working in teams and is good at following directions.
