When is it the best time to start texturing a poly model in XSI??
ok I have this model I'm working on which is progressing at a good pace. However, I will like to know when is it the best time to texture a polygon model: when its finish in high polygon? or low polygon before its finish then use sub-division? thanks |

You can use subdivision during rendering... So it is better to start applying UV mapping and textures earlier when the 3d model is simpler especially considering that XSI can interpolate UVs during modeling. _________________ Andyba, 3d artist skills: 3d modeling, texturing, rendering, 3d character animation, compositing 3d software experience: 3ds max, Maya, Softimage XSI, Deep Paint 3d, Body Paint 3D, Wings 3D, Z Brush 2d software experience: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After effects, Macromedia Flash, Freehand |
