Job details: GENERAL OVERVIEW
The Interactive Marketing Manager role will replace the Graphic Designer position. As we are looking to leverage the resources of an advertising agency in '07, we can better leverage the agency for graphic design work and re-purpose the position to gain better skills on the web. The Interactive Marketing Manager will develop and implement the strategic online marketing plan for TCM-AM. The Interactive Marketing Manager stays abreast of changes in the online marketing environment to best serve the growth plan of the business. Also responsible for overseeing other aspects of the website such as content components; optimization testing and online advertising testing.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Spearhead the management of search engine marketing and natural search optimization initiatives for TCM ? AM. Initiate testing in the paid search engine marketing arena ? includes implementing best-in-class search marketing practices; optimizing keywords on key search engines and instituting a test & learn methodology.

Collaborating with agency, technology and research partners to gain insights into behavior and leverage best-in-class approaches to drive results. Conduct online competitive research.

Ensure the web site design and content meets brand and optimization engine requirements and legal standards. Update website content as needed. Develop and report on web metrics. Champion new website ideas.

Lead ongoing management of email marketing. Develop and report on campaign metrics. Detailed reporting and analysis of campaign creating recommendations towards the achievement of campaign strategy.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

3+ years professional experience in internet marketing/website management.

Ability to show a quality portfolio in the areas of internet search engine and other related projects.

Excellent understanding of web design, internet and online marketing concepts.

Historical track record of achieving results in the online world is a must.

Strong analytical and optimization skills with a focus on ROI.

Knowledge of natural search optimization strategies a plus.

Strong collaboration, communication and influencing skills.

Customer orientation is critical. A solid understanding of online marketing best practices; usability and user centered content development.

Comfortable with technology and experience with online applications.

Excellent writing and communication skills. Demonstrated expertise in writing for the web.


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree required. Undergraduate degree in e-commerce a plus.
