We're building a rendering server to take care of scenes and models from both Max and Maya on the server.
Dual amd opt2.4 dual-core in a sm h8da8-2 mb , 4 sata 10k 150g hd w/ raid 1, 16g ram, XP64 os.
We're interested in what you would suggest for graphics prosessing since that is this server's main purpose.
The motherboard has 2 pci-e x16 slots wo/sli...
So would the dual cards do that much better than a single.
Wildcat Realizm 800
Quadro FX4500
FireGL V7300
are being considered.

If it will be just a rendering server, and no interactive work will be done on it I think that the graphic card is not really important.
