Job details: Director, Product Development Wireless Warner Bros Online Inc. seeks a Director, Product Development Wireless for the Strategic Marketing department. Position responsible for managing the product development team which oversees content creation/design and production of multiple SKUs (games, personalization content, applications, mobile video, etc.) including; budgeting, scheduling, tracking development, localization and ensuring all deliverables are met in a timely manner, and reporting project progress to management. Work closely with the Deployment and Business Development teams to ensure that Carrier and appropriate market place requirements and knowledge are transferred to the product development team and reflected in the wireless product produced. Manage and update the slate-tracking documentation. Manage product development and project management personnel from a strategic and operational perspective. Collect, collate and present status reports about slate development to upper management. Manage complete process for the making of mobile content on all target platforms on a global scale. Work with marketing, deployment, technology operations, and business development to ensure all product requirements are met. Work with Finance and Wireless Sales group to ensure budgets are being tracked and cost implications understood. Coordinate with Wireless Sales & Marketing groups to ensure product roadmap is targeted at carrier/partner needs and other cross-platform marketing opportunities. Work with other team members to develop product roadmap. Coordinate and track product development activities. Provide direct reports with managerial support for internal and external resources. Coordinate with technology to help set priorities for internal technical development and strategy


Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, Game Development or related fields required. 6+ yrs of project and/or product management experience. Producer level credit or better at an established mobile entertainment company. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Entertainment experience preferred. Deep understanding of global mobile market place including product types, consumer behavior, emerging trends. Team management experience in a deadline driven global production environment. Ability to meet tight deadlines. Expert mobile game knowledge/game industry knowledge. Ability to build detailed project milestone schedules and product roadmaps. Familiarity with mobile platforms including BREW, Java, Symbian, Smartphone, etc. Physical Demands: General Office Activities - Walking, Standing, Sitting, Talking, Lifting, Finger Manipulation, etc. Domestic and International travel as required. Mental Demands; Must have oral and written communication skills. Must have the ability to manage and add value to multiple projects simultaneously. Must have the ability to pay close attention to details. Must have the ability to organize. Must have the ability to work well under time constraints. Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks. Computer, printer, photocopy machine, fax machine, telephone, etc.
