As a Senior Game Designer/Creative Manager you will:
Leverage established relationships with powerhouse 3rd party developers to create winning titles;
Communicate and disseminate game vision to licensors, and developers, in delivered game;
Utilize THQ's bastion of resources to keep integrity of game vision/design by road mapping and meeting deliverables;
Define and track schedules and milestone deliverables for development projects;
Deliver legendary titles that meet or exceed franchise goals and objectives.
Drive the vision and design of a product(s)
Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure quality and timely deliverables.
Work closely with a team of designers and project managers
You could be a contender if you have:
produced a minimum of two AAA/major video game titles from concept to shipped product;
have credits on licensed title(s);
experience leading external 3rd party development teams;
exposure to console development environments, including next-gen consoles;
demonstrated understanding of the product development lifecycle;
demonstrated project and people management skills;
a solid sense for the game industry and a particular interest in the action/sports genre;
a love of fighting games;
a collaborative communication style with demonstrated verbal and written language skills;
a HS Diploma or GED is required:
preferred Bachelor's degree in Computing/ Art/ Design/ Language/ Literature
the successful candidate must be able to travel at short notice for possibly extended periods of time.
